War Heroes' Initiative Scholarship Fund - Lt. James Alexander Smith III USNR DFC Nursing Merit Scholarship

The War Heroes’ Initiative Scholarship Fund – Lt. James Alexander Smith III USNR DFC Nursing Merit Scholarship will provide financial assistance to a VCU School of Nursing student. To qualify, students must be a U.S. Citizen, in good academic standing maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA, and embody the spirit of nursing in a manner that evidences the qualities of compassion, servant leadership, commitment to excellence, joyfulness of spirit and a positive attitude. Preference will be given to Virginia residents and active duty service members or veterans. It is the intent of the donor that the scholarship be awarded to one student annually from the time of admission through graduation.
