Alice Cabell Horsley Parker Scholarship in Craft & Material Studies

The Alice Cabell Horsley Parker Scholarship was established to honor her memory and legacy as a student and patron of the arts. Alice Parker studied art at Richmond Professional Institute and also at The Art Students League in New York. In her later life, she quietly provided financial assistance to struggling artists. The Parker Scholarship supports full-time sophomore or higher, including graduate students, and rotates between the Theatre, Sculpture, Painting and Printmaking, and Crafts departments in the School of the Arts.
