Dr. LeEtta Lee Pratt Merit Scholarship

The Dr. Le Etta Pratt (Lee) Merit Scholarship was established in 2000 by Le Etta (Lee) Pratt, now an emeritus faculty member in the School of Education. The Pratt scholarship honors the memory of her mother, Laura Gooch Pratt, who began teaching in 1926 as an Elementary Teacher and for many years was a special education teacher. The Dr. Le Etta Pratt (Lee) Merit Scholarship is awarded to meritorious, incoming, full-time freshmen in the School of Education pursuing a degree in Special Education. Applicants must indicate an interest in teaching children in special education classrooms.
