Ruth Battig Memorial Scholarship

The Ruth Battig Memorial Scholarship will provide financial support to an undergraduate VCU School of Nursing student. To qualify, students must demonstrate financial need and maintain a 3.5 GPA. First preference will be given to residents of Wythe, Carroll, Pulaski, or Bland counties. Second preference will be given to Smyth, Grayson, Washington, Buchanan, Tazewell, Russell, Scott, Wise, Lee, Dickenson, Giles, Montgomery, Floyd or Patrick counties. Third preference will be given to students who self-identify as being from a rural part of Virginia.
