Morton and Gail Blankman Scholarship for Jazz Studies

The Morton and Gail Blankman Scholarship for Jazz Studies was established with a gift from Gail A. Blankman to provide financial support to students with demonstrated financial need who are pursuing a music degree with a concentration in jazz studies in the VCU School of the Arts. The fund honors the legacy of Mort Blankman, who loved jazz music, to support the efforts and ambitions of young jazz musicians moving forward.
