Dr. Ruth Douglas See Scholarship

The Dr. Ruth Douglas See Scholarship was established in 2020 through gifts from two-time VCU alum Fred Wayne (B.A.‘70; M.S.’86). Dr. See was a political science professor and inaugural VCU faculty member. The scholarship supports rising juniors and seniors in the College of Humanities and Sciences in good academic standing who have an academic interest in or are currently working on issues of social and economic justice. Students must be a rising junior or senior to apply. Students will be required to explain their interest or work in their application to be considered. This may be renewed as long as the student remains eligible according to the criteria.
