William S. Cooper Scholarship

The William S. Cooper Scholarship was established by the Class of 1957 in honor of William S. Cooper, the first African American student to graduate from the MCV School of Pharmacy. The fund will be awarded to a student in good standing who has a demonstrated commitment to working with the African American community, has maintained a GPA of 2.75 throughout the first two professional years in pharmacy school and demonstrates evidence of involvement in professional organizations and community activities related to pharmacy.
