Black Alumni Council Merit Scholarship

The Black Alumni Council Merit Scholarship was established by the Black Alumni Council. The Black Alumni Council Merit Scholarship will be awarded according to the following criteria:

- Full time enrollment on the Monroe Park campus
- Pell Grant eligible
- Demonstrated academic performance
- Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated interest in, experience with and/or a commitment to African American heritage. Examples may include (but are not limited to)academic coursework, volunteer activity and student organization involvement.

The Black Alumni Council Merit Scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the above criteria, with preference given to freshmen. Future scholarships will be renewable up to the annual endowment payout.
