Bob Green Research Fund

The Bob Green Research Fund was established by Robert Green, Ph.D. (B.S.‘67; M.S.W.’70) and his wife, Frances. He taught at VCU for 30 years and was awarded the rank of professor emeritus upon his retirement. He served as faculty field liaison for the School of Social Work M.S.W. program, as director of the school’s Ph.D. program and was also appointed to the faculties of the Department of Psychology in the College of Humanities and Sciences and to the Department of Psychiatry in the School of Medicine.

The Bob Green Research Fund shall be awarded annually to one Ph.D. student and one M.S.W. student who demonstrate outstanding achievement in social work research. The scholarship is renewable for two years provided the recipient remains in good academic standing. This scholarship is for continuing students only.
