Warren and Esther Brandt Merit Scholarship

The Warren and Esther Brandt Merit Scholarship was established by Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mikuta, their family members, and close friends. Sherry Mikuta, MBA ’82, and her husband established this scholarship in honor of her father, Warren Brandt, the first president of Virginia Commonwealth University. This is a merit-based scholarship awarded to an incoming, full-time freshman planning to major in one of the departments in the College of Humanities and Sciences and may be renewed for an additional three years provided the student remains in good academic standing.
