VCU Internship Funding Program
The VCU Internship Funding Program is designed to remove barriers for students wanting to participate in internships related to their academic and/or career goals. Students must have received an interview offer or an employment offer to participate in a Summer 2025 internship and be able to provide proof of application. Students can request funds for financial support for unpaid/low-paying opportunities, travel, housing, professional attire, and/or supplies. _Funding may NOT be used for tuition or course-related fees, program fees for an internship placement service, pet care, medical expenses for self or family, purchasing a car, making car payments, or insurance. _If selected, students may be awarded up to $5,000.
NOTE: Complete the General Application first. Then under Opportunities, select All from the dropdown menu and search for the VCU Internship Funding Program application. Remember that any information you disclose in your application is subject to mandatory reporting.

- Please enter your initials below to indicate your agreement with the following should you be chosen to receive funding through this program: By accepting this funding, I understand that it is a requirement that I enroll in an undergraduate degree program at VCU, or I will be continuing as part of an accelerated (5-year) Master's degree program at VCU, for at least one semester following this experience. I understand that I must complete the internship experience for which I applied to receive funding. Suppose the internship experience is no longer available by no fault of my own.
