John Roos Memorial Scholarship in the School of the Arts

The John Roos Memorial Scholarship was established in 1989 by Mr. and Mrs. Frederick A. Roos. The fund honors the memory of their son, John Roos, a commercial artist and close friend to Mallory Callan, a VCU faculty member in the Department of Arts and Design. The School of the Arts awards the Roos scholarship to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate both financial need and an interest in the humanities through the work they create.
