VCU Staff Senate Virginia's Caring University Endowed Student Scholarship

The VCU Staff Senate Virginia’s Caring University Endowed Student Scholarship was established in 2007 by the annual faculty and staff walk-a-thon. The event’s name was changed in 2012 to honor Marquita Aguilar, executive administrative assistant in the College of Humanities and Sciences, who established the walk-a-thon and scholarship program. The scholarship supports full-time undergraduate junior or senior students who maintains a GPA of 2.7, possess a need for financial assistance, and are employed a minimum of 10 hours a per week.
