Jane D. Ohly Voice Scholarship

The Jane D. Ohly Voice Scholarship honors the legacy of Jane DuLaney Ohly, mother of John Forbes Ohly and Robert W. Ohly, Jr. It was established by her family and friends. Jane DuLaney Ohly received her undergraduate degree in music from Richmond Professional Institute in 1965 and her Masters of Education from VCU in 1970. A talented musician, she taught voice in Richmond and was a teacher in the Richmond public school system. The School of the Arts awards this scholarship to students studying voice in the Department of Music, with preference given to incoming freshmen (based on combined merit and need).
