Donald Bick Memorial Fund for Percussion

The Donald Bick Memorial Fund for Percussion was established by Donald Bick’s mother, Dorothy Hargreaves, and his brother, John Hargreaves. Donald Bick served as a faculty member and head of VCU’s percussion program. He spent 30 years contributing to the education and careers of countless students in VCU’s Department of Music. The Bick Memorial fund continues Donald Bick’s good work by providing financial assistance to VCU’s percussion program. The fund, administered by the VCU Department of Music, is used to support student scholarships, travel, equipment, music, and other needs of the program.
