Oraphine Crump Scholarship

The Oraphine Crump Scholarship for First-Generation Students in Business supports first-generation students with financial need in the VCU School of Business. The fund will provide an annual $5,000 scholarship to support diverse undergraduate students in the School of Business who demonstrate financial need and allow the School of Business to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of diversity. Recipients must be at least a sophomore student with a minimum grade point average of 2.75. The scholarship is renewable, if students remain in good academic standing. Preference will be given to students who meet one or more of the following criteria:

Candidates who are members of VCU student organizations that embrace and promote diversity such as: Black Excellence at VCU, Collegiate 100, National Association of Black Accountants, VCU African-American Alumni Council Mentoring Circle, and/or programs with similar purpose.
