Bangdel & Shakya Art History Scholarship

Established in 2022, the Bangdel & Shakya Art History Scholarship memorializes and honors the legacy of Art History faculty member Dina Bangdel. Dina desired for students to have the opportunity to perform research, work globally, stretch boundaries and explore hybrid disciplines, paving the way for creative practice in the School of the Arts. This fund will be used to support students with demonstrated financial need in the Art History department. Additional preference will be given to students studying South Asian and Himalayan art.
