R. Grayson Weiler Scholarship for Experiential Learning

The R. Grayson Weiler Scholarship for Experiential Learning was established in 2020 through gifts from Kim and John Weiler. The fund honors the memory of Grayson Weiler, a VCU student majoring in interdisciplinary studies who would have been a member of the Class of 2020. This scholarship, open to undergraduate rising juniors or rising seniors in good academic standing, majoring in the College of Humanities and Sciences, provides financial support to pursue experiential learning experiences related to recipients’ fields of study. Such experiences must emphasize the central role that experience plays in the learning process and may include but not be limited to research, domestic study, study abroad, social entrepreneurship opportunities, conferences, and/or internships.

Special note: awards made in support of international travel will follow restrictions/guidance listed at together.vcu.edu/students under the heading ‘student international travel planning.’
