Randi Buerlein Endowed Scholarship

The Randi Buerlein Scholarship for Service-Learning Education Abroad was established in 2013. The fund honors Mr. Buerlein’s wife, Randi, an alumna and retired faculty member of the School of Social Work. The Buerlein Scholarship is awarded to students who meet the VCU Education Abroad criteria and who have demonstrated a commitment to community engagement through past participation in a service-learning course, or who has had significant community service involvement while at VCU.

Eligible applicants must be a degree seeking student at VCU with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater, be participating on a credit-bearing, approved study abroad program, and have registered their program with the Education Abroad Office prior to departure.
