Dr. Loraine M. Stewart Endowed Scholarship

The Loraine M. Stewart Endowed Scholarship was established by family, friends and colleagues in memory of Dr. Loraine Stewart, a beloved faculty member in VCU’s liberal studies in early and elementary education program. Dr. Stewart, who inspired many with her dedication to excellence in teacher preparation, passed away in July 2015. The recipient must teach in early and elementary education, must be admitted to the teacher preparation program and they must display a strong interest in multicultural education.
