Marianne Burns Brown Memorial Scholarship

The Marianne Burns Brown Memorial Scholarship was established in 2004 in honor of Marianne Brown’s lifetime of exceptional community service. In the last 25 years of her life, she gave more than 22,500 hours of volunteer service. The scholarship supports undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who have evidence of outstanding public or volunteer engagement that directly impacts people in need, such as the sick, the elderly, and the homeless. Preference is given to those who have effectively inspired others to such service.
