Jessica McCain Scholarship

The Jessica McCain Scholarship in Strings was established in her memory by her family and friends. Jessica, who passed away in 2002 during her senior year as a student in VCU’s Department of Music, was a hardworking and dedicated person who was liked and respected by her faculty members and fellow students. The McCain Scholarship is awarded to full-time string students majoring in music education. Factors such as talent, dedication, grades, recommendations, and financial need are taken into consideration.
