Pearl Burford Scholarship Fund in the School of Education

The Burford Scholarship was established by former students of Pearl Burford, a faculty member of Richmond Professional Institute, to honor her memory. It is awarded to graduate or undergraduate students who plan to become elementary school teachers. Applicants must be full-time students with a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
