Patricia Duncan Scholarship Fund in Reading and Language Arts

Friends and colleagues of Dr. Patricia Duncan, a distinguished member of the VCU School of Education faculty for nearly 30 years, have established the Patricia Duncan Scholarship Fund in Education in honor of her retirement in 1999. Administered by the VCU Foundation, this fund will provide financial assistance to full-time or part-time graduate students in the School of Education who have been fully admitted into the M.Ed. in Reading or the Certificate for Reading Specialist Program. The recipient must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Applicants should include reasons for choosing to pursue a career in reading/language arts in their application essay.
