Jonathan L. Mela Memorial Scholarship in Music

Jonathan Mela, a professional trumpet player, studied at VCU in the 1980’s. The Mela scholarship supports full time undergraduate and graduate students, with preference given to students studying trumpet and brass as well as Jazz Studies students. Awards are given based on artistic ability and financial need.
