Marika L. Byrd Merit Scholarship

Established by Marika L. Byrd, a graduate of the Nontraditional Studies Program who served as a member and former president of the Nontraditional Studies Alumni Council at VCU, this scholarship is awarded to a full-time rising junior or senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better and a double major in disciplines represented by the College of Humanities and Sciences departments, schools and programs. The scholarship can be renewed for an additional three years provided the student maintains the required GPA and remains a double major in the College of Humanities and Sciences.

Please note: If the current recipient is renewed per the terms of this scholarship, applications to the current cycle will not be considered. We do encourage applications during each cycle should the current recipient not be renewed.
